Yet in Livestock and Climate Change environmental experts* found the industry is actually responsible for a staggering 51% of global GreenHouse Gas emissions. The larger figure comes from environmental assessment experts, while the smaller estimate comes from those who are clearly NOT experts in that field, in violation of international environmental assessment best practices. AND-- By the way, even 18% is more than the entire transportation sector’s emissions. * World Bank authors of LCC -- both environmental assessment experts, while not a single FAO author of LS is an environmental assessment expert.[4] This of course violates international environmental assessment best practices "Today, tens of billions more livestock are exhaling CO2 than in pre-industrial days….”
