For the Body 

      Body, Mind and Spirit affect and are affected by one another, and our overall physical health depends on healthy conditions in the other aspects of our being. So in addressing body needs the other areas cannot be ignored.
     Of the purely physical aspects of health there are those that are more naturally in my life, others not so much. The factors that seem to need my daily clear attention form a platform for my wellness. 

 
 My Wellness Platform  
     1.  Drinking WATER--  
          Drinking clean, healthy water
       helps keep me hydrated, avoiding overeating
              when I am really only thirsty.

 >  Here's How:  I take a bottle with me so that drinking good water is easy, natural and a given. By doing that I also save my health and the cost of junk beverages, avoiding drinks that rob my health and can trigger cravings. This has now become easy and natural for me.

         2.  FOOD--
        "An apple a day” won’t do much, 

          but seven fruits and veggies daily may just 
            keep the doctor from your door! 

              I eat these BEFORE I get to have the junk!

     Eating right in proper dietary includes, for me, the 7-10 fruits and veggies everyone knows they need. Smoothies help, but I need to plan them into my day, figuring out when and where I’ll be so that I can make them.  If I haven't had one in too long, I may take my rechargeable. hand blender with me.

   3. Encouragement--  
              "Easy Does It" is for me!
      I pick only one thing and work at it until it becomes routine. 
     That's the secret— practice, practice practice til you have

  a Routine! It doesn't matter how long it takes to make the change.

4. Education For Wellness
       Knowing about health and taking action are two very different things. 

    For me each has required focused attention. The knowledge factor may not affect us much until we get sick. But by then it can be too late to learn new ways. That’s why its so important to learn while you've got your health. As for implementing what you learn,  there are ways to be kind and careful not to expect myself to act in what I can’t deliver. However far I am from the mark it still seems better to know the truth than to die for having believed in folly. And knowing what I know, I may be able to help another.
       Without investigation, I will likely perpetuate the rampant danger of ignorance in health.
